I will be making more and more spawn all this crazy-packed week. I plan to do 12 spawn bags a day, and by the end of the week, I should have upwards of 72 bags. Then in the next coming three or four weeks, we should have a whole arsenal of spawn of different genetics. I am super excited that the steps to get mushrooms have finally started and I am super grateful that things are running as smooth as they are.
Firstly, I have made a big mistake that I should have noticed in our logo "mushrooms Mycology" with the mushrooms above it. I misspelled Mycology. I typed "mcyology" instead of mycology. I used Grammarly to correct my spelling and double verify my grammar, and currently, it is yelling at me to fix my mistake. I will gladly go and fix everything that has that logo on it. I will never be able to live this down, and it will be a joke for as long as this company lives.
Secondly, the water guys finally showed up and hooked up a new well pump. Sadly, we still do not have a water supply running to the whole warehouse, but it is a step up from what we had previously. They are scheduled and plan to come back this Tuesday (4/19/22) to hook up the rest of the water. For the next coming days, we will be using that single tap to get our water and use it to make our spawn.
Lastly, I have word that my crazy and very energetic nephew will be coming up ever so often to help me and the business out. Of course, I will be paying him like any other employee I will be hiring, but I will make things fun for him, and hopefully, he will follow in my steps and start his own business with whatever he decides to do. He is still in middle school, but he is super optimistic and wants to get a head start in his life. I am glad that I will be the one to help him along his journey and with whatever he needs.
